Privacy policy

This is a starting draft and should be reviewed by a qualified person before launch.
What we collect
You do not need an account to use migrant hub. We keep data to a minimum:
- Anonymous chat sessions. When you use the assistant, we store an opaque, random session identifier in a cookie (no name, email, or other personal details) and the messages exchanged, so we can improve answers. These are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Basic usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate, non-identifying statistics about which pages and features are used (with IP anonymization). Analytics cookies are off by default and are only enabled if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. We never send chat content or any personal details to analytics.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not ask for your immigration status or documents.
- We do not share your chats with the authorities.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working (such as your language choice and the anonymous chat session). Optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you choose “Accept all” in the banner — choosing “Only essential” keeps the site fully usable with no analytics cookies at all.
Your rights
As chats are anonymous and short-lived, they cannot be linked back to you. If you have questions about privacy, please contact us.
